Day1 : ARRIVAL DAY IN AGADIR
Arrival in Agadir by flight. Welcome by your guide, transfer, and check-in at the hotel. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy free time for a walk in the city or along the beach. Transfer: 45 min | Meals: at leisure.

Day 2: AGADIR – AÏT MOUSSA OASIS
Early morning departure towards the Tafraout region. The road gradually climbs above Aït Melloul, crossing the argan-tree plateaus of Aït Baha and passing through small villages. Start of the hike from the village of Aït Lhaj, through wheat fields and argan forests. Arrival at Agadir Ikhssaine village, offering panoramic views over the entire Aït Moussa palm grove. Descent via switchbacks to the lodge. In the afternoon, exploration of the lush and peaceful Aït Moussa oasis. Overnight in a guesthouse. Descent : 400 m | Walking time: 3 hrs | Transfer: 2 hrs.

Day 3: AÏT MOUSSA – TARGA N’TOUCHKA
Morning walk through cultivated fields before leaving the palm grove along a panoramic trail overlooking the Angrf Valley. After about one hour of ascent, we reach the village of Aït Moussa Oulahcen, with beautiful views over wild gorges where banana trees grow. We then cross the Timzguida Pass (550 m), meaning “mosque” in Berber. A second ascent leads to the village of Aghrighre, known for its traditional Anti-Atlas architecture. Descent into stunning gorges for a picnic under palm trees, then continuation along the gorges to the palm grove of Targa n’Touchka. Elevation gain: 700 m | Elevation loss: 450 m | Walking time: 5–6 hrs.

Day 4: TARGA N’TOUCHKA – INZGUAREN
After leaving Targa n’Touchka, we ascend through a narrow gorge, cross a pass at 730 m, and descend into the Imzi Valley, where almond trees survive despite the arid climate. We walk through the wild gorges of Tagdichte before climbing to the Tikki Pass (1,300 m). Descent to the spectacular village of Inzguaren, dramatically perched on the cliffs. Overnight in a local guesthouse. Elevation gain: 1,100 m | Elevation loss: 600 m | Walking time: 7 hrs.

Day 5: CLIFF-PERCHED VILLAGE OF TIKKI – AÏT IFTEN
After a hearty breakfast, a beautiful descent to the Assif Azguezaw river. Don’t forget to count the stone stairways built by warriors during the era of tribal conflicts. A steady ascent (about 2.5 hrs) through olive and argan trees leads to the Tizi n’Tlgout Pass (1,520 m), where we enjoy lunch at the foot of the cliffs. Continuation through the valley to reach the guesthouse in Aït Iften (1,500 m), at the foot of Jebel Lekst. Elevation gain: 760 m | Elevation loss: 450 m | Walking time: 6 hrs.

Day 6: AÏT IFTEN – JEBEL LEKST (2,260 m) – ANERGUI
Ascent via the shepherds’ trail, barely marked, winding through holm oak forests, high-altitude meadows, and rocky spurs. With some luck and discretion, you may spot Cuvier’s gazelles, which still inhabit this massif. From the summit, breathtaking panoramic views extend over the Anti-Atlas, the High Atlas, Siroua, the Great South, and Tafraout. After the ascent, a beautiful descent leads to Anergui, where you spend the night in a charming local guesthouse. Elevation gain: 760 m | Elevation loss: 700 m | Walking time: 7 hrs.

Day 7: ANERGUI – TAFRAOUT – AGADIR
After a magnificent descent, we reach the Amelene Valley before transferring to Tafraout. Enjoy time to stroll through this friendly town, more like a large village, where houses blend harmoniously with the pink granite landscape, almond trees, argan trees, and palm groves. We then drive across the Souss Plain back to Agadir. Overnight at the hotel with a free evening. Elevation loss: 600 m | Walking time: 2 hrs | Transfer: 3 hrs.

Day 8 : DEPARTUR DAY FOM AGADIR
Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy free time in Agadir before transfer to Agadir airport (45 minutes) for your return flight to France.

    Walking times are given as an indication and may vary depending on weather conditions, terrain, and group pace. Transfer times may also vary according to road conditions and traffic. For safety and logistical reasons, the itinerary may be adjusted if necessary due to weather, flight disruptions, or local authority decisions.

    Difficulty level: Level 4
    Average of 6 hours of walking per day, on and off trails, with 700–1,000 m of elevation gain and/or 15–18 km per day. Some altitude exposure. Rocky terrain may be demanding on joints; trekking poles are recommended.

Transport

Transfers are carried out by approved tourist minibuses, reserved exclusively for the group.


Accommodation

  • Agadir (Days 1 & 7): 3–4★ hotel (local standards), double rooms, centrally located and close to the beach.

  • Guesthouses (Days 2 to 6): Simple but comfortable accommodation. Dormitories or shared rooms with mattresses on the floor; sometimes the option to pitch a tent in the garden. Private or shared bathrooms. Single rooms are not available on these nights.


Meals

  • Breakfast: Generous breakfast with coffee, tea, chocolate, jam, butter, bread, cereals

  • Lunch: Picnic or freshly prepared meals using local products

  • Dinner: Soup, main dish (tagine, couscous, rice…), dessert, tea or herbal infusion

  • During the day: Energy snacks (dates, peanuts, sweets, biscuits)

  • Upon arrival at each stage: Afternoon tea with mint tea, biscuits, pancakes, or fritters

Water & Drinks

Drinking untreated water is not recommended. The team provides water from official sources, to be treated individually with Micropur tablets.
To reduce plastic waste, you may purchase a 10-liter water container (€10), transported by the team. Please bring a reusable water bottle (preferably insulated).


Luggage Transport

You carry only your daypack. All other luggage is transported by vehicle.
Suitcases are not recommended; please bring a soft travel bag for easier transport.

Your Equipment

All your belongings are divided between a daypack that you carry during the hike and a lockable travel bag transported by the local logistics team.


Essential Equipment

  • Breathable underwear (quick-drying).

  • Fleece jacket (Polartec-type, preferably windproof) or Wind Pro (excellent weight-to-warmth ratio).

  • Waterproof and breathable jacket (Gore-Tex or equivalent).

  • Trekking trousers.

  • Walking socks suitable for hiking.

  • Cap or sun hat.

  • Sunglasses (minimum category 3).

  • Rain poncho.

  • Water bottle with a minimum capacity of 2 liters (or hydration bladder).

  • Shorts and T-shirts.

  • Swimsuit and towel.

  • Sunscreen.

  • Toilet paper and a lighter for disposal.

  • Pocket knife.

  • Micropur tablets to treat the water provided by the team.

  • A small personal first-aid kit (kept to a minimum).


Footwear & Technical Gear

  • Waterproof hiking boots with ankle support and good grip on varied terrain (Contagrip, Vibram, or similar soles).

  • Headlamp.

  • Telescopic trekking poles.

  • Lightweight sandals or old trainers for walking in water and on rocky ground.


Sleeping Equipment

  • Sleeping bag liner (sheet sleeping bag).


Luggage

  • A backpack with wide shoulder straps and an adjustable anatomical frame, 30–35 liters in capacity, for your daily essentials.

  • A soft travel bag of 80–100 liters, transported during the day by the logistics team or by vehicle.


Miscellaneous

  • Spare clothing.

  • An extra pair of shoelaces.

  • Toiletry kit and towel.

  • Nightwear.

  • A few plastic bags to protect your belongings.

  • Needle and thread.

  • An anti-theft pouch to be worn at all times, containing your ID, money, insurance and assistance documents.
